If Lisa has one, I must need one...

My sister has a blog that she's been working on for awhile it seems to help her therapeutically. Marcia, our life coach, wants me to journal more so that I can notice emotional patterns. It'll see how it goes.

We've been couped up all week because of BC's swine flu. I decided that we'd take a trip to Cedar Creek and check out the camp and get some much needed fresh air. I was shocked to see how few people were in the Cavalry camps. The Yankees didn't even set up picket lines and used ropes from trailer to trailer instead.

H company and the 13th VA were camped together and had a nice setup. Jo did a great job with the mess and I was really impressed with her new grate. Can't wait until the next event!

Mike looked great on Ares who did really well during the battle. Hopefully Mike will be able to skirmish the sabre and shoot off Ares in the spring. They've got their work cut out for them this winter.

The girls and I really enjoyed our break and time with the other reenactors. The cold, fresh air wore them out and the hot chocolate from Starbucks (and pumpkin spice latte) warmed our tummies. It was the perfect combination for a nap.
